Job summary

Everwool Recruitment is recruiting for Disability Assessor roles in Luton. These positions offer Monday–Friday hours, no nights or weekends, fully paid training and strong career progression. You will assess how health conditions affect daily activities and work capacity, producing objective reports for the DWP.

We welcome Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists to apply. Salary starts at £45,000–£48,000 with a bonus scheme and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s post-registration clinical experience
• Active professional registration
• Relevant adult clinical experience
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Good IT and typing skills
• Confidence producing detailed written reports

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments.
• Take detailed clinical histories and ask structured questions.
• Assess the impact of physical, mental and cognitive health conditions.
• Review medical evidence, health questionnaires and supporting information.
• Apply your clinical reasoning and professional judgement.
• Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
