Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Functional Assessor in Southampton for a hybrid role with a focus on PIP and Work Capability Assessments. You will evaluate health and daily living needs via phone or face-to-face appointments, and prepare comprehensive reports for the DWP.

The role offers a 40,000–42,000 salary with potential rises and performance-related bonuses. Full training provided and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the relevant body (NMC/HCPC/GPHC).
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills; IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Assess claimants' health and daily living needs via phone and in-person assessments.
• Conduct PIP or WCA interviews and review medical evidence.
• Compile detailed reports for the DWP with clinical reasoning.
• Maintain quality and accuracy over speed.
