Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking experienced healthcare professionals for Disability Assessor roles in Lewes. You will conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments, gather histories, and review medical evidence to produce objective reports for the DWP.

Roles are Monday–Friday 9am–5pm with hybrid working, starting salary £45,000–£48,000 plus a bonus scheme and benefits. Applicants from nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, paramedic or pharmacy backgrounds encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year's post-registration clinical experience
• Active professional registration
• Relevant adult clinical experience
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Good IT and typing skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments.
• Take detailed clinical histories and ask structured questions.
• Assess the impact of physical, mental and cognitive health conditions.
• Review medical evidence, health questionnaires and supporting information.
• Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports for the DWP.
