Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Scunthorpe. The role is hybrid, combining home work with assessment centre time. You will perform PIP assessments, analyse evidence, and produce detailed reports as part of a structured clinical framework.

The post is for NMC/HCPC registered professionals with at least 1 year UK experience, offering a starting salary of £42,000 rising to £46,000 after 12 months, plus annual reviews and incentives.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC registered professional (Nurse, Paramedic, Physio or OT).
• Active registration with no restrictions and at least 1 year of UK clinical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with digital systems and typing (35 WPM).
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone PIP assessments with professionalism and empathy.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence‑based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
