Medacs Healthcare is hiring a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Scunthorpe. If you are an NMC-registered Nurse or HCPC-registered Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist, you will assess how health conditions affect daily living, in a non-hands-on clinical role focused on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The role offers hybrid working with home and centre time, predictable hours, structured training, progression and a clear pay package with salary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC-registered professional in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, or OT.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use digital systems with typing speed around 35 WPM.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsabilités

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
