Job summary

Everpool Recruitment in Bournemouth is hiring a Functional / Disability Assessor (PIP) to use your clinical skills in a non-clinical reporting role. You’ll conduct consultations, review medical evidence and write clear, evidence-based reports, applying clinical judgement to assess functional capacity.

Qualifications

• Active NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration — Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience (adult experience, as you'll assess ages 16–65)
• Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills, plus confident report writing and IT use

Responsibilities

• Conducting face-to-face, phone, or video consultations with people living with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
• Reviewing medical evidence and applying your clinical judgement to assess functional capacity
• Writing clear, objective, evidence-based reports
• Bringing empathy and professionalism to every interaction, with the highest standards of confidentiality
