Job summary

Veolia Group at Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility in Shrewsbury is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. You will inspect for proper material separation, operate sorting equipment, keep the site tidy, meet output targets, and relay information to the plant shift supervisor.

Working 37.5 hours weekly on rotating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am). Salary £24,843 per year with Veolia benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Similar operational manual handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Quality control inspection to ensure proper separation: identify and remove specified materials from designated picking lines.
• Operating sorting equipment and machinery.
• Help maintain a tidy site at all times.
• Meet all output specifications according to client and customer targets.
• Communicate operational information to the plant shift supervisor.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
