An exciting opportunity for an Associate Director Professional Indemnity in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract, joining a knowledgeable Office of General Counsel team responsible for managing contentious professional indemnity and risk matters across the UK and EMEA.

The role involves leading risk strategies, policy guidance, and liaising with brokers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure appropriate coverage and reporting.

Formación

• Significant experience (ideally 5 years'+) managing contentious risk issues in an international commercial law environment.
• Experience in insurance is helpful.
• Ability to define strategic direction for senior management teams; excellent stakeholder management.
• Proactive thinker who anticipates problems and develops commercially aligned solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage annual placement and renewal of global professional risk insurance programmes.
• Provide strategic advice on handling serious and complex claims with external counsel and brokers.
• Supervise the PI team in managing live and potential claims and associated litigation.
• Collaborate with General Counsels, CFOO, Finance teams and auditors on financial implications of claims.
• Lead responses to professional complaints under UK & EMEA policies while overseeing management of this area.
• Deliver technical and legal support for general insurance programmes including travel, contents and business interruption.
