Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Professional Indemnity and Risk Solicitor in Greater London/Surrey. The role focuses on risk management, professional indemnity claims and regulatory compliance within a UK Top 100 firm, reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance.

Strong experience in PI and compliance is essential, with a 5+ PQE level and a permanent, full-time arrangement. You will handle complaints, PI notifications, risk reporting and data protection matters, while assisting with COLP duties

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Risk & Compliance Solicitor to join a highly regarded UK Top 100 law firm, playing a pivotal role in its risk management, professional standards and regulatory compliance functions. Working closely with the Director of R&C, you will manage client complaints, professional indemnity claims and associated litigation, liaising with insurers, brokers, panel solicitors and the Legal Ombudsman. The varied role also encompasses claims assessment, PII notifications, risk reporting, conflicts, confidentiality, undertakings, professional conduct and data protection. You will support the COLP and contribute to compliance training, helping maintain robust procedures across the firm. The firm is seeking relevant experience in professional indemnity and general compliance, alongside a strong understanding of SRA regulations.
