Parallel Wireless is seeking a talented and motivated intern to develop physical layer (PHY) software for 4G and 5G products. This 12-month internship is based in our Bristol office, in the centre of the city, joining a team of around 50 within a 500+ international R&D group.

You will gain hands-on experience in real-time C/C++ software on Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus exposure to AI-assisted development and modern software tools, while contributing to end-to-end lab and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong C and/or C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development.
• Willingness to learn about wireless communications.

Responsabilités

• Develop real-time PHY software features for 4G/5G products.
• Integrate, test and validate features on servers, lab and AWS environments.
• Build test scripts and debug tools as part of CI/CD and release pipelines.
• Use AI coding agents to develop and debug PHY software and tools.
• Work with lab equipment like UE simulators and Android devices.
