Job summary

Plexus Bathgate Design Centre is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer placement. You will write low-level C/C++ code, work close to hardware, and contribute to real client projects in a fast, collaborative environment.

You'll be a software student currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics, with a passion for embedded systems, RTOS tasks and driver development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in C and C++ and interest in embedded systems.
• Curious and quick to learn new tech stacks in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform software design, coding, debugging, and testing throughout the product development life cycle.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and design assurance engineers to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Contribute to bare-metal embedded C/C++ development, driver development, or RTOS tasks on live client projects.
• Participate in design reviews, test execution, and hardware bring-up activities.
