ChiroCat in South Yorkshire is seeking a mid-level PHP Software Developer to join a growing technology services consultancy. This role offers flexible working with 2 days per week in the office and strong growth potential within a collaborative team.

You will develop and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel, JavaScript for frontend and API integration, and optimise MySQL databases while contributing to performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years' experience as a PHP software developer.
• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
• JavaScript experience and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & Laravel.
• JavaScript for frontend & API integration.
• Maintain & optimise MySQL databases.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Product enhancements.
• Use Claude Code for code review, documentation, troubleshooting and productivity.
