Job summary

Crown Oil UK is seeking a Mid-Level PHP Developer to join its in-house development team in Bury. You will work on business-critical applications, developing back-end services with PHP 8+ and Laravel, and SPAs with Vue 3.

The role requires strong MySQL, Docker, and CI/CD experience, plus collaboration with peers in code reviews. You’ll contribute to real-time features using Soketi/WebSockets and integrate GraphQL APIs, Microsoft Graph, and related tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP 8+ and Laravel experience.
• Commercial experience with Vue 3 and SPAs.
• Strong MySQL experience.
• Experience with PHPUnit, TDD.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience collaborating in a development team with code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using PHP and Laravel.
• Build SPAs with Vue 3 Composition API.
• Work with TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Write feature tests using PHPUnit and TDD.
• Optimize MySQL and application performance.
• Use Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD in workflows.
• Create real-time features with Soketi/WebSockets.
• Integrate Microsoft Graph where needed.
• Participate in regular code reviews and technical discussions.
