Job summary

Crown Oil UK is seeking a Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our in-house development team in Bury. You will work on business-critical applications using PHP 8+ with Laravel, Vue 3, TypeScript and GraphQL, contributing to robust backend services and responsive SPAs.

You’ll collaborate in a tight-knit team, participate in code reviews, and write PHPUnit tests with a TDD approach. On-site role with clear learning curve around our business and systems, plus opportunities to expand your skills.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel.
• Commercial experience with Vue 3, Composition API and SPAs.
• Commercial experience with TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Strong MySQL experience.
• Experience with PHPUnit and TDD.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience working in a collaborative development team with code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Building backend services and features using PHP and Laravel.
• Developing SPAs using Vue 3 Composition API and TypeScript.
• Developing and integrating GraphQL APIs.
• Writing feature tests using PHPUnit and TDD.
• Working with MySQL and optimizing performance.
• Working with Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Developing real-time functionality using Soketi/WebSockets.
• Building integrations including Microsoft Graph and other tools.
• Participating in regular code reviews and technical discussions.
