Zusammenfassung

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a motivated phlebotomist to join our team, collecting blood samples from inpatients and outpatients at Derriford and community hubs. Core hours are 08:00 to 17:00 with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday mornings when required.

You will train during the core working week; training pay follows AfC band 2 rates. The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality, and accuracy, with potential to participate in 7-day rotas; EPIC experience

Qualifikationen

• Understanding of patient confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety issues.
• Experience with IT equipment.
• Proven venepuncture knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Provide venepuncture service for inpatients and outpatients following SOPs.
• Liaise with patients and staff in a professional manner.
• Ensure accurate labelling and proper handling of blood samples.
