Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking phlebotomists to join our team. You will contribute to a high-quality blood collection service across hospital and community settings, with flexible working options and a commitment to compassionate care.

The role requires good communication, accuracy in data recording, and the ability to work across sites, including domiciliary visits. Training is provided, and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Evidence of good level of education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to record data accurately.
• Willingness to complete further training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver blood collection services across hospitals, GP surgeries, and community sites.
• Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality; adhere to ANTT policy.
• Record data accurately and work with IT systems across sites.
• Be flexible to work across a seven-day service from 08:00–20:00; travel between sites as required.
