Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge is seeking a Phlebotomy Assistant to join our team. The role covers taking blood from patients across clinics and our Drive Through service, with a minimum 22.5 hours over 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level.
• Experience in NHS environment is desirable.
• Administrative and reception duties experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood samples from patients as requested by medical staff.
• Operate Trust EPIC system to record samples and results.
• Ensure specimens are left at approved collection points.
• Work across outpatient phlebotomy departments and offsite Drive Through service.
