Job Description for Healthcare Support Role

Hourly Rate: £12.36 and up to £13.53 in selected London locations.

Join Our Future Health, a charity partnered with the NHS, aiming to become the UK's largest health research program. We are working to develop new ways to prevent, detect, and treat diseases by collecting data from millions of volunteers across the UK.

Main Duties

1. Welcoming participants, verifying details, and explaining the phlebotomy procedure.
2. Managing appointment bookings and stock levels for the phlebotomy service.
3. Taking and maintaining venous blood samples.
4. Supporting on the healthcare counter by advising on healthcare products and services.
5. Opportunity to complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training program.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and independently.
• Empathetic, approachable, and sensitive in interactions.
• Comfortable with technology and digital tools.
• Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
• Flexible to work weekends.
