Job summary

ECM Selection Ltd. is seeking a PhD graduate to join our defence-focused hardware-software team in Guildford. You will work on integrated systems spanning embedded software, FPGA development, and hardware design, contributing from the word go.

Candidates should have a PhD in a numerate field, strong undergrad in maths/physics, and skills in C/C++. On-site labs and prototyping facilities support innovative projects; summer 2027 start.

Qualifications

• PhD in a numerate discipline with a strong undergraduate degree (Maths/Physics preferred).
• Software or embedded programming skills in C or C++.
• Electronics knowledge such as comms protocols, FPGA programming or PCB design.
• UK National.

Responsibilities
