Job summary

Ecm Selection is seeking a PhD graduate to lead innovative hardware and software projects. The role spans embedded systems through to high-performance server applications, with a strong emphasis on integrating custom hardware and software.

You will join a multidisciplinary team in modern offices with on-site labs and prototyping facilities, located within easy train access from London and Surrey. The position starts in summer 2027 for top candidates, with an outstanding salary and benefits

Qualifications

• PhD in a numerate discipline with a strong undergraduate degree in computer science, electronics, physics or similar.
• A Levels including Maths and Physics.
• Proficiency in C or C++ for software or embedded programming.
• Knowledge of electronics, including comms protocols, FPGA programming or PCB design.
• UK national.

• Contribute to the design and development of embedded systems and hardware-enabled software.
• Work on a range of projects from low-power embedded to server applications.

Are you a bright PhD graduate in an applied numerate subject? Do you have excellent skills in programming, embedded software, FPGAs or hardware development? • Electronics knowledge such as comms protocols, FPGA programming or PCB design
• UK National
