Ecm Selection in Surrey is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a defence-focused engineering team, developing advanced C/C++ software for real-world defence and security systems.

You will work on sensor and signal processing projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with hardware teams; UK DV clearance eligibility and British citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Commercial-grade experience developing and maintaining complex C/C++ systems.
• Strong academic background in a numerate discipline; 1st or 2:1 at degree level and may include a PhD.
• British citizenship and UK residency for at least 10 years.
• DSP and/or image processing expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex C/C++ systems for defence and security projects.
• Lead and mentor engineers within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate on sensor data processing and UI components for embedded and web tech.
