Job summary

Ecm Selection seeks aSenior engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Guildford. You will contribute to developing effective technology solutions for UK government clients, combining software with hardware components and leading project efforts.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers, driving project direction, and maintaining strong client communications through reports and presentations. A strong background in embedded C/C++ and hardware design is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have commercial experience developing integrated software-hardware products.
• Proficient in C or C++ (embedded experience recommended).
• Electronics knowledge in hardware comms, FPGAs or PCB design.
• UK national.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior engineers and develop the team.
• Drive the direction of new projects and take responsibility for their success.
• Nurture client relationships and clearly communicate progress through written reports and presentations.
