Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team across the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and help deliver pharmacy services while training for the NVQ2 dispenser qualification.

No prior experience required; full training will be provided. This role is in-store in the UK and requires current UK right to work. You will grow with the team, with opportunities to progress within Boots.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
