Boots in the UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join an in-store pharmacy team. No prior experience required; full training will be provided as you work toward the NVQ2 dispenser qualification and support the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals.

You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and advise on medicines while following SOPs to ensure safe, legal dispensing. This store-based role emphasizes patient care and accurate service.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; not sponsoring Skilled Worker visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the NVQ2 dispenser programme.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe, accurate handling and labeling.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver services.
• Advise patients on medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and processes.
• Help patients manage repeats and adherence to medicines.
