Job summary

Ruby Country Medical Group seeks a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join its multidisciplinary team at Holsworthy Medical Centre. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri) with a competitive salary depending on experience.

You will work closely with GPs, clinical pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise medicines use and improve patient outcomes. Applicants must meet essential criteria in the Person Specification and are expected to contribute to IIF, CQC and QOF

Qualifications

• Working as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience with data checking and charging.
• Patient facing role providing information and/or advice.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Thriving in a pressurised environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience with medicines management information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements to maximise safe, cost-effective best practice in prescribing to improve patient care.
• Support the Group by working within professional boundaries as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient use of medicines and deliver key objectives.
