Job summary

Sound PCN is seeking a dynamic pharmacy technician to join our team across five GP practices. The role focuses on medicines optimisation, patient care, and close collaboration with GPs, nurses, and pharmacists. Part-time 22.5 hours per week, with CPD development through the CPPE pathway.

You will work independently within your competence, delivering specialist medicines advice and ensuring safe, cost-effective use of medicines for our patient population.

Qualifications

• Must have UK GPHC registration.
• Experience in primary care networks is desirable.
• Experience using SYSTEM ONE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist pharmaceutical technical services and professional advice to practice staff.
• Develop medicines optimisation services across GP practices within the PCN.
• Support prescribing decisions to promote safe and effective medicines.
• Maintain registration and CPD up to date.
• Collaborate with clinicians and non-clinical staff to improve patient care and medicines management.
