Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver outstanding patient-centred service across our communities. You will triage patients, coach the pharmacy team and provide expert technical advice on medicines.

You will ensure legal and safe decision-making, manage stock and pharmacy systems, and build strong relationships with your team and customers as you develop in a supportive Boots environment.

Qualifications

GPhC registration and a genuine enthusiasm for coaching a dispensary team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
Motivation to improve services for teams, customers and patients.
Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
Delivering services suited to store needs.
Coaching and inspiring the pharmacy team to deliver high care standards.
Assisting with triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
Ensuring legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
Managing stock replenishment, workload, order fulfilment and handling controlled drugs.
