As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll build trust by providing excellent service and ensuring customers receive the medical attention, care, and health services they depend on. What will you do?

1. Process prescription requests while building trusted customer relationships with patience, empathy, and care.
2. Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues for the best customer outcomes.
3. Follow department processes to input information, dispense medication, and verify details.
4. Assist with tasks such as maintaining inventory levels through ordering, and rotating and stocking drugs and supplies.
5. Handle products properly, operate equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Computer skills
• Ability to perform basic math for data entry and prescription filling without errors
• State-specific requirements, possibly including Pharmacy Technician certification
• For New Jersey applicants: must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ordering products and inventory control
• Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

Note: Certification and/or state registration may be required in some states. Wegmans may hire individuals prior to obtaining these qualifications and support their certification process. Certified Pharmacy Technicians at participating locations earn a $.50/hour shift differential.
