Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Technician Apprentices to be at the heart of patient care, engaging with customers and building strong relationships. The program emphasizes earning while learning and pursuing PTCB certification while working under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, processing prescriptions, using pharmacy systems, and supporting inventory and patient care in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with third party billing.
• Maintain accurate records, verify medicine, and check for interactions.
• Contribute to a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and store operations as needed.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
