Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice role within a busy community pharmacy. You will support safe supply of medicines, work with pharmacists, and develop to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

The program combines blended training with on‑the‑job learning, with day‑to‑day duties covering stock control, patient advice and auditing. Salary and career progression are provided through the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff.
Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
