Job summary

PLEAT LTD is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team in London. The role supports safe medicine supply and works closely with pharmacists to develop skills toward registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

Key duties include managing medicines, advising patients, assisting with stock control and governance, and mentoring junior staff. Training is blended with on‑the‑job learning for two years and three months.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety mindset.
• Ability to work well in a busy team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, effective supply of medicines while working with pharmacists.
• Manage ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and products.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Assist with day-to-day running, stock control and governance.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff as you progress.
• Help with training and mentoring new staff members.
