Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a pharmacy support role. You will assist Pharmacists and technical staff in the Dispensary, Aseptic Dispensing Unit and Pharmacy Receipt & Distribution, with visits to wards as part of delivering a comprehensive pharmaceutical service.

Desirable GCSEs in Maths/English and basic computer knowledge; prior pharmacy experience is not required as full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent desirable
• GPhC approved course in Pharmacy Stock Management desirable
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacists and technical staff in Dispensary, Aseptic Dispensing Unit and Pharmacy Receipt & Distribution
• Visit hospital wards and departments to deliver a comprehensive pharmaceutical service
• Attend required training and contribute to service improvement
