Skills4Pharmacy in Wednesbury is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while helping customers, processing prescriptions under supervision, and supporting stock control.

The role offers full training and support with the apprenticeship, and the chance to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while earning. 30 hours per week, start date 26/10/2026.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired, but not essential as course can provide
If Maths/English Level 2 not met, initial tests determine suitability for the course

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
Help with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
Handle stock, deliveries and keep records accurate
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
