Job summary

Skills4Group in Birmingham is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations and start a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training.

No prior pharmacy experience is required; training is provided. You will learn to assist customers at the medicines counter, handle prescriptions under supervision, manage stock, and use pharmacy systems while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent; desirable.
• Maths/English Level 2 tests may be required to determine suitability.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship training provided.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality; work as part of a team.
