Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in WF6 2AQ. You will work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.

You will support counter services, assist with prescriptions under supervision, handle stock, maintain records, and learn pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided and a commitment to contracted hours.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
