Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in Wednesbury is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship. You will support day-to-day running, help customers, and work with the team to ensure safe and efficient service.

The role combines on-the-job duties with a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification and the chance to develop a long-term career in community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Training to be provided as part of the course.
• You will complete Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
