Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in the Sefton area. You will work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

You will support customer service at the counter, help with prescriptions under supervision, manage stock, and learn pharmacy systems and confidentiality standards as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship offered as part of the role.
• If needed, initial Maths/English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
