Job summary

JustApply Ltd is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while working in a busy community pharmacy.

The role involves assisting with prescription preparation, stock management, and customer queries, with full training and support provided. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, with a blended learning approach over ~15 months.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in healthcare and working with people
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic IT skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Education

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English
