Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and assist customers under supervision. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support, typically over 15 months, while working 30 hours per week.

No previous pharmacy experience is required as training is provided. Commitment to customer service, accuracy and teamwork is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship delivered alongside role with blended learning.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
