Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day running, assist with prescriptions under supervision, handle stock and use pharmacy systems, while studying for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

This 15‑month program combines on‑the‑job training with blended learning, with full training provided and no prior pharmacy experience required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English preferred; training available.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn and work in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality; work in a team.
