Job summary

Skills4Group in Ascot is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support. Duties include assisting customers, handling prescriptions under supervision, stock control and contributing to public health services.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (Maths/English) or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
