Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice position to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Working Monday to Friday, with blended learning over typically 15 months, no prior pharmacy experience required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy and help customers.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service.
