Job summary

Skills4Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Peterborough to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will work closely with the pharmacy staff to provide prescription counter services, assist customers, and learn through an accredited Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Start date 30 October 2026, with a structured 15-month programme and blended learning to fit your

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C or 4-9) desired but not essential.
If Maths/English Level 2 not held, entry may depend on tests to determine suitability for the course.
Training provided to gain Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
