Job summary
JustApply Ltd is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy in Peterborough. You will work while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.
No prior pharmacy experience is required; GCSEs are welcomed and Maths/English tests may be required to determine suitability for the course. The role includes customer service, stock handling and using pharmacy systems.
Qualifications
- GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, Maths and English desired but not essential.
- If Maths/English Level 2 is missing, tests will assess suitability for the course.
- No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
- Interest in healthcare, good communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
- Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
- Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality, work with a team.
