Job summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in the UK. You will earn while you learn, working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

Key duties include assisting customers at the counter, helping with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock and using pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience is required, and the apprenticeship typically lasts about 15 months.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths/English desired but provided if needed.
• Completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside work.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
