Job summary

Skills4Group is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Liverpool to support the day-to-day running of a busy community pharmacy team. You will help customers, work with the pharmacy team, and gain a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

The role provides on-the-job training alongside study for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with typical duties including handling medicines, stock control, and using pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C (Maths/English) desirable but not essential.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is not present, initial tests will determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
