Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Lancashire is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided, starting 29 August 2026, position based within 30 minutes of the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desirable, provided via course if needed.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship is included.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining cleanliness, health and safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
