Job summary

Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship in a community pharmacy setting offers hands-on training while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship. No prior pharmacy experience required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, Maths/English desired but not essential
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications may be required and tested if not present
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship training provided

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
