Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in London (N7) invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice. You will support the pharmacy team, assist customers at the counter, and learn through a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship delivered alongside your role.

This 15‑month program combines practical training with classroom learning, covering prescription support, stock handling, and customer service. No prior pharmacy experience required; full training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
