Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in the United Kingdom. You will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assist customers at the counter, and work closely with the team to ensure safe, efficient service while undertaking a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Training is provided alongside your role, with full support. The position offers practical experience in stock handling, prescription processing, and delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at the required level; Maths and English can be provided as part of the course.
• Willingness to learn and commit to training alongside work.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
